4. Brief  write-up about your research work    For fulfilling the global energy demand hybrid energy system is the better option. Hybrid energy system is the integration of different renewable energy sources to that of existing Utility Grid system. My research work deals with the modeling and simulation of a grid connected PV Wind Hybrid Power System. Both the systems are connected parallel and then connected to the grid. The output of PV and wind after combining is given to the inverter.  The main problems of hybrid system are involved with stability and power quality. For these problems a power conditioning unit is designed. Nowadays hybrid power systems are increasingly used.

4. Brief  write-up about your research work Distributed power generation is the dispersed generation of power at load center, that the generated power is directly deliver to the loads. Because of low cost, reduced maintenance, rugged and brushless construction, the induction Generator is recommended for distributed power generation. The induction machine with separate self excitation capacitance is working as SEIG (self exited induction generator).The fundamental problems with the SEIG are its inability to control the terminal voltage under varying load conditions. Hence the limitation of an SEIG with capacitor self excitation is poor voltage regulation, which results in under utilization of the machine.

Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is established in 1994 with an intake of 60 at undergraduate level. Since its inception department has undergone many developments. The department has qualified, experienced and adequate faculty in cadre ratio. The department has modern laboratories like Network Analysis, Project, Electrical Machine, Power System, Control System, Electrical and Electronics Instrumentation, Electrical Simulation etc.

The department has a library and computer centre. The department encourages its faculty to present research papers in national, referred international journals, conferences and symposium. Faculty members are motivated to attend workshops and Faculty Development Programs both in house and off campus. The department has good records of placement in prominent companies.

Research assistance for paper presentation and travel grants for India and abroad are provided by LNCT Group and government agencies like MPCST, AICTE, DST etc.
